But where better when celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. It is undoubtedly the best hotel weve ever stayed at in the UK. The ambience throughout the hotel is one of luxury and opulence, you know you are staying somewhere a cut above the rest. Our room was very quiet, the bed comfortable and the shower powerful. What makes this hotel standout are the staff, from the moment you are greeted by the doorman and reception and then everyone you meet whilst staying you are made to feel welcomed and special. We also made use of the pool and the spa. Great facilities and a lovely deep muscle massage. Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made it such a lovely place to stay.

The staff were wonderful b8t my husband was amazes there wasnt any toast offered at breakfast and everything geared up for folk with smart phones so not so good if you dont have or use one. However it was wonderful but beware, most rooms dont have baths in the ensuites which is a bit disappointing after a hard days sightseeing!

On arrival there was no offer of help with luggage before we found our own way to the car park. That in itself put my hackles up - concierge staff the ones that let the others down. Particularly the old guy who seemed more interested in sorting his umbrellas. Rest of staff lovely.

I had a very early flight to catch the next morning, and staff provided a nice to go breakfast with coffee. Also need to mention the spa. I had an amazing treatment there, and would give it a solid 10 rating!
