As an airline agent I travel extensively all over the world and have stayed in many beautiful resorts. However Canaves suites exceeded all and every expectation. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. They updated our suite which was beyond phenomenal. Upon entering this two story suite everything was set up perfectly with a warm friendly and endearing Anniversary note, bottle of Champagne and upstairs bed decorated in a heart shape with flowers. The suite was enormous of a posh decor , great ambience, and superbly stylish. The beds were extremely comfortable offering a quiet and soothing quality. Canaves Oia suites left nothing out and lives up to its name and reputation. The staff are exceptional always going above and beyond to elevate our experience. Their hospitality is truly that which needs no change as they are warm, helpful, welcoming tone and, perfect demeanor. Our only regret was that we couldnt stay longer however will be returning again.

The views were spectacular and the breakfast was excellent The staff is always looking to help and please it’s clients. The hotel is one of a few that offers an elevator. The location is superb, literally a few steps away from all the shops and taverns/restaurants of Oia.

Location is amazing being in the middle of tons of restaurants and shops and looking at the breath taking view

The views from every corner of the hotel are exceptional and the location is right in the heart of Oia. I proposed to my partner while we were there, and it was the perfect evening - the staff went above and beyond to make make sure everything went to plan. On that note - its the staff that makes this place. Theyre extremely professional and helpful, but also warm and welcoming (something thats rare to find in top hotels, where formalities can often make the service feel false or robotic.) We are already planning our return for next year and have recommended Canaves to family and friends. p.s I recommend taking the opportunity to visit the sister property at Sunday Suites for sunset and drinks.

THANK YOU SO LUCH!! They thought about every single detail. Also we had live music in our private pool because a wedding was happening, amazing time!

I particularly enjoyed our private heated plunge pool jacuzzi with breathtaking views of the Caldera. The sunset was beautiful. Great location at the beginning of the pedestrian-only zone; just a short walk to numerous restaurants and boutiques.

We stayed in the junior suite which was much bigger than we expected, split over 2 levels and had an amazing terrace with views over the town and a huge hot tub. The staff could not be more helpful or attentive. The pool area is fantastic, it has an amazing infinity pool and the breakfast could not be faulted. Location is just at the edge of the town of Oia, just a 30 second walk until you are at the start of the main street.

The service is amongst the best we’ve ever had and the hotel staff were amazing. The room was large, very clean and all in fantastic condition. The plunge pool was ideal, overlooking the caldera with great views all day. The hotel facilities are amazing. Breakfast every morning was perfect, room service was no hassle and the spa was brilliant.
