This hotel is a converted chateau in the medieval and pedestrian village of Eze. It offers rooms with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and a gastronomic restaurant.

Rooms and suites at Chateau Eza are air-conditioned and uniquely decorated in a Louis XIII style. They are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player and private bathroom. Many of the rooms offer stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and free Wi-Fi is available.

Chateau Eza’s restaurant serves traditional French and Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can dine in the dining room overlooking the Cote d''Azur and enjoy an aperitif on the terrace.

Eza Chateau is 20 km from the Nice Côte d''Azur Airport and 8 km from Monte Carlo.

From January to March, the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Please note that due to limited capacity in the restaurant, it is necessary to book your table in advance for the different nights of your stay.Otherwise the hotel cannot guarantee the guest a table at the restaurant.


Georgia Rating: 2 2022-11-05 The service at the hotel could not have been better. Climbing up to our 2 or 3 times a day was a little much. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The view from the hotel porches were incredible, but our room did not have a view. The room and bathroom were very nice.

The space or the room was very appropriate. It is bigger and better than we expected based on the pictures that we’ve seen on the internet. The whole village is very pretty and the best part it is very private and peaceful. Lovely experience and hope to come back soon!

Janice Rating: 4 2022-08-12 Beyond Expectations--Fantastic Experience Staying at Chateau Eza! Without a doubt, Chateau Eza is THE definition of a 5-star hotel. It is truly a unique complex integrated into the medieval town of Eze; it is at THE TOP of the hill--the only destination higher than this is the spectacular exotic garden. Probably one of the most incredible sea views Ive ever seen. One word of caution though: guests really shouldnt have any mobility concerns at all as there are multiple steps to get to the complex and maneuver to the restaurant, lounge, etc.

I mean, you’re staying at the top of a medieval stone village, overlooking what must be one of the world’s all time greatest views. Seriously. And the village itself could not be more picturesque. While Eze is very, very popular and full during the day, it’s ridiculously peaceful and quiet at night. Hotel staff, especially the bellmen, the bar staff and the valets, are all extremely friendly, fast, and kind.

Lewis Rating: 4 2022-06-28 The most romantic and unique experience in a fairytale medieval castle setting. Not to be missed! Eze is to die for! Absolutely stunning. The chateua is steeped in history and charm. Ask for the Gallery room to stay (beautiful restored old house with high ceilings and a huge bathroom and jacuzzi tub inside the walled village) and ask for a private balcony for dinner. Where you can enjoy an intimate dinner in the sky over a 400ft cliff drop overlooking wild boar with views of the Cap Ferrat Penisula. Very smiley and friendly staff. Welcome cocktail drink on arrival was a great touch as was the valet parking, for 10 euros a day it’s a total bargain considering the alternative is a park and ride 30 mins away. We will be back!

The hotel itself was very nice indeed and the welcome cocktail on arrival and note and rose in our room for our honeymoon was such a lovely touch. We were well looked after by the staff too and the bathroom was the best bathroom we had all holiday at any hotel.

We were welcomed and ushered out the terrace to enjoy welcoming drinks whilst we checked in and enjoyed the stunning views! The room was fantastic (super double with terrace), super clean, lovely en suite and huge shower. The views are something else and we enjoyed dining for one of our two evenings on a private terrace with spectacular views down to Cap Farat, Nice airport on towards Antibes and beyond - amazing.

The rooms are so beautiful and the view from the balcony (and the shower) is breathtaking! The restaurant seating is done so well with little individual balconies that feel secluded and romantic. Everything one can read about regarding Chateau Eza and the old town of Eze is true: it is fabulous, the staff is meticulous, the food is heavenly, the views are splendid. It is a place every discerning traveller should have experienced at least once, and dream away. We opted (deliberately) for the junior suite (Royale), it must be the most lovely and romantic room of all. The very secluded private balcony overlooking the bay makes for perfect breakfasts (never mind some annoying wasps), and late evenings/nights under the stars with a bottle of champagne overlooking all the lights along the coast. The shower is an experience in itself, beyond words!! The room is just so beautiful, it is truly royal. The private entrance makes one feel like prince and princess (every room has its own entrance). Highly recommended for romantic couples that want to get away from it all. Dinner experience is remarkable, so much attention for detail, meticulous service, a sommelier who truly goes out of his way to ensure the best wine experience. I was a bit worried that it would be rather warm with a late sun on the dining terrace but it was not at all, much shade and a cool pleasant breeze. We received the most beautiful table setting and there are no words to describe it. The exotic gardens (entrance 6 Euro/pp) is a MUST see and experience. Valet service is indispensable, just the little road up towards the old town (past the barrier) can quickly become a driving challenge in itself, especially if you meet cars coming down!

Einav Rating: 4 2020-02-28 Exceptional A beautiful hotel in the heart of amedival vilage, full of atmosphere. the room was amazing and the round bath is to die for. we got nice welcome drinks upon arrival in a lounge facing panoramic view of the coast line of the cote Dazur. cant wait to come back. the staff was very friendly and kind, and did everything they could to help us solve a problem we had with the phone. defenitly well go back.
