This ski hotel is set in a charming Alpine-style building, surrounded by the impressive mountains and ski runs of Andalusia’s Sierra Nevada. Free WiFi is available.

Enjoy a day on the slopes thanks to El Lodge’s excellent access to Maribel Ski Resort. Cable cars and ski lifts rise up to the peaks of Borreguiles and El Veleta from the hotel’s location at 2,100 metres above sea level.

Once you have enjoyed the many local ski activities, return to El Lodge to relax. The spa and wellness centre features 2 swimming pools, a sauna, and treatment rooms. You can also choose to work out in the gym before sitting down to a meal in the on-site restaurant.

The attractive, Finnish-style rooms all features views of the ski resort and village. They offer floor-to-ceiling windows, and include a tablet and an iPod dock station.

This property offers a selection of restaurants and bars on site, including The Sun Deck, which offers stunning views of the ski tracks. Other facilities available include a kid''s club and a business centre. Private parking is available for an additional charge. Guests can also buy sky passes and rent any equipment at the property.

Michael Rating: 4 2021-03-09 Lovely staff in a lovely place El Lodge is a treat. For us an expensive treat but, worth every cent (penny!). The decor throughout is beautiful and is snug, cosy, opulent and warm in its ski lodge style. The beds are so comfortable and little touches like room sleep humidifiers are great (avoids dry night throats at altitude) If you get fed up with the private balcony hot tub in your room then there’s the most stunning indoor and outdoor pools, tubs and spa. Food is excellent and there’s a huge list of wines from €15 to several thousand a bottle. The ‘locker’ room is more luxuriant and tasteful than my living room! Ski in (to a great sun terrace) ski out down to the gondoliers. The icing on the cake though is the staff and their wonderful service. It’s impossible not to feel valued and special.

I had recently stayed in London to high end hotel that was extremely nice but they charged us for everything and capitalised on you at every opportunity. My experience at El Lodge could not have been more different there was lots of extras and complimentary stuff included. It was consistent from start to finish. Honestly can not recommend enough
