The accommodations were top tier and the hotel was exceptional. You would think it’s a 5 star hotel based on everything. Thank you Hyatt Centric Staff for being super friendly and pleasant. I appreciate you all for ensuring that I had an enjoyable stay while celebrating my birthday. I appreciate the decorations done to my room that was SO sweet :) Highly recommend for a place to stay. Catherine Rating: 3 2021-12-21 Hotel with great amenities, good location Nice, clean and eco-friendly/pet friendly hotel located a block away from Kalakaua Avenue where all the high end shopping and restaurants are. The beach is about a 10min walk away and there is a marketplace about 1min walk with lots of food options including a bakery and coffee shop. There are resort fees but they do provide many useful services such as GoPro rental, towels/chairs/umbrella, yoga classes and free reusable water bottles you can take home. Guests can even ‘adopt’ and care for one of their resident betta fish for the duration of their stay (random, but makes a fun story ?). There is a spacious common area in the lobby with couches and dining tables so guests can use that space to hang out, work or eat takeout food (microwave also available). Their resident dog Nasa will pop up in that area from time to time; if you have food she will be your best friend :) We booked a deluxe king room and thought it was a decent size for 2 people; bathroom was very spacious and I think the room is well sound insulated because we never heard the neighbors aside from when they left their room or were passing through the hallway. Our trip had to be cut short due to an emergency back home and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. We had to notify a Booking.com agent first so that they could inform the hotel, and were not charged for the last 2 days - very much appreciated. Highly recommended hotel if you want to be close to the action in Waikiki.

Coffee lovers dream with really good coffee in the room and a huge Starbucks in the lobby. Shopping lovers with Nordstrom Rack, Rosses, and H&M 2 minute walk, Beach lovers with Waikiki beach a short 5 minute walk and the hotel provides towels, chairs and umbrellas that you can take to the beach. Staff likeTiara on the Front Desk and ALL the staff are 5 Star employees, room so clean and bed so comfortable. Restaurants 5 minute walk at the International Market Place and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping center and so location is fabulous!
Ed Rating: 4 2021-11-18 My first time in Oahu and my wife and I enjoyed our stay at Centric. Close to Waikiki Beach without being too close! We had a city view, but unfortunately the hotel across the way had beds on one of the room terrace. We shared this with the Hyatt Centric manager and she was very understanding and offered to move us to a higher floor, but we could still see the beds so we decided to stay in our original room. As luck would have it, the beds were gone the next day…Aloha intervention must be the reason ?. But seriously, we truly appreciate the manager’s understanding and willingness to make sure we were happy with our stay. Definitely booking with Hyatt Centric the next time we are in Oahu! BONUS - NASA was a pleasant surprise too! Mahalo and Aloha!

It’s just a 3-minute walk to restaurants and 5-minute walk to beach access. The staff was friendly, even at 4 am when we were checking out.
