Set on the stunning island of Vagaru in the secluded Shaviyani atoll, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa can be reached via a 55-minute scenic seaplane flight from Velana International airport.

Featuring luxurious villas with private plunge pools and is spread over 22 acres of golden sand and palm trees. The villas feature separate lounges, bedrooms, and bathrooms, all tastefully accented with materials and colors inspired by the natural surroundings and cultural influences of the Maldives.

The resort features 5 restaurants, 3 bars, wine cellar and a range of beach dining options with entertainment. The resort also offers 24-hour in-villa dining service, as well as memorable destination dining experiences.

The resort’s signature Spa by JW is a sanctuary of indulgent top-to-toe pampering, offering a menu of luxury spa treatments. For families traveling with children, Little Griffins, a Family by JW kids'' club, featuring a 13-meter long pirate ship, kids'' sleeping areas, a servery, games and educational activities will provide hours of fun and entertainment. For guests over 18, the resort offers an adults-only infinity pool area on the tip of Vagaru island, as well as a clubhouse complete with a cigar room, a shisha room, and billiards table.

The island''s natural reef, just meters from the shore, is unspoiled and teeming with sea life.

Upon arrival in Malé, guests will be greeted by a resort host once you clear customs and exit the building. Guests will then take a 50-minute seaplane flight to Vagaru.

Shared seaplane roundtrip transfer rate is USD 600 per adult. Children between 2 – 11 years are charged at USD 360 per child, whereby children under the age of 2 years and below are complimentary with sitting on adult’s lap. Airport transfer rates are net. Seaplane operates only during day time between 6:00 am and 3:30 pm and subject to weather conditions.

Baggage allowance is 20 kg for check-in and 5kg for hand luggage. Any excess luggage is charged at USD 5.50 per kg payable at the airport.
