The adjacent resort, The Royal Sonesta Kauai Resort is undergoing renovation. Please anticipate construction noise during normal business hours. Work is expected to continue through December 2023.

The overall property impression was great! The room was a bit tired and outdated. The murphy bed did not meet my expectations. Storing the cushions and Putting it up and down by ourselves each night was a pain. Im sure without Covid restrictions, the housekeepers would of done this -- really left me with a bad experience on that side. room size was good. view was amazing!

We also appreciated the kitchenette. We stayed at the Marriott a few times in the early 2000s, and the room was nicely updated.
