White sands, crystal waters and gold sunshine feature at the luxurious Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa on the private Furanafushi Island in North Male Atoll, Maldives. The resort is accessible by a complimentary 15-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport.

The award-winning, five-star resort boasts a diverse selection of guest accommodation, that range from garden deluxe rooms and charming beach cottages to stylish over water villas as well as a lavish 2-bedroom water suite.

The resort features seven restaurants and bars. ChopstiX overlooks the freshwater pool, where guests can enjoy savory Asian flavors from homemade dumplings, noodles to traditional snacks while Sea Salt, the feature al fresco seafood restaurant, offers elegant dining next to the beach. Feast restaurant comes to life with chefs creating dishes from around the world at live-cooking stations. Feast’s themed beach dinners, including ‘Maldivian Fish Market’ and ‘Arabian Night’ featuring live entertainment, are proving to be huge hits with guests. Masala Hut hosts a traditional mix of North and South Indian cuisine, Baan Thai presents contemporary yet authentic Thai cuisine, Anchorage bar, where guests can enjoy a refreshing cocktail admiring the spectacular panoramic view of the Indian ocean. Kakuni Hut is famed for its tacos and cocktails.

Guests can enjoy the recently renovated facility includes the award-winning Shine Spa for Sheraton, located on its very own island. Other facilities include 3 outdoor freshwater pools, diving, and water-sports center as well as a tennis court.

Other services are available at an additional charge including diving, motorized water sports, sand bank picnic, snorkeling safari, sunset dolphin cruise, parasailing, fishing and much more. In addition, the resort offers an exciting Side by Side Family Program, featuring fun activities for kids and teens.

Transfer details:

All guests are advised to inform of their arrival and departure flight details at the time of booking, or at least 24 hours prior to arrival. The resort will arrange for a shared speed boat transfer to the resort from Velana International Airport. Shared speed boat transfer is complimentary for all guests (not applicable to group bookings).

Child policy: Kids Menu is free for children under 12 years when accompanied by their parents at the restaurant, provided at least one parent is dining.

Newlywed and honeymooners: A valid wedding certificate not older than 6-months must be presented upon check in to avail of honeymoon amenities and services.

Please note that the name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. The resort do not accept third party payment by credit card. Third party payment or payment on behalf is not accepted at the property, advance payment can be made via bank transfer prior to guest check in.

The landscaping in the island is so pretty, a lot of beautiful flowers , and even got an orchid garden ! Staff are friendly and helpful , special thanks to Ali for arranging our room, he gave us a warm welcoming and good introduction to the property , and ensured we are happy with my stay . Rooms have direct access to the beach , there are some games in the beach for your to play with. The breakfast is good , restaurant is nicely decorated, even have chef to cut fruits for you.

Ching Rating: 2 2022-10-03 Decent place as a single night transit hotel. it’s very near the airport. no matter what time your flight is, you are certain that someone will come to pick you up at the airport and take you all the way (via speedboat) to the resort. extremely fuss free option for an overnight transit before heading to a resort that requires seaplane transfer. there’s also a small lagoon to kick start our first glimpse of the Maldivian beach experience. breakfast is decent and service is good.

Paradise Friendly staff, room for family was great, island cottage, was close to pool and main restaurants and on the other side the beach. Water sports were great especially with staff “Mango’. Anonymous Rating: 4 2022-08-25 One of the best vacation I had! could stay there for a month.. everything was excellent. location is perfect since i had a baby with me, its not too far from the airport. beach vibes is so chill and so relaxing, very clean place, great customer service and superb staff. almost everyone in the resort greets everyone (staff and guest) and it makes you feel like you’re home.. the resort had a lot of facilities that we didnt even bother going out to check other islands.. our room was perfect as its near the seashore, we loved waking up to a perfect sunrise by the beach. my baby loved the sea breeze!!!

The food was very good with lots of local food choices. Bummer that we had to cut out trip short but the manager at the time Anessa, (I hope Im spelling her name right), was able to get us a refund for the night not stayed. I dont think Ive ever seen that in all my life (specially after booking on a no cancellation policy). That goes to show how much they actually care about the visitors.
