We payed way too much to get a small room with big in my daughters bed. I was told I will be getting a free night but they only end up taking away the resort fee of $150. I would never stay at a ritz again or recommend it to anyone I know.

When we drove up to the hotel the valet greeted us so kind and enthusiastically. Chloe is her name I believe, I told her we were there for my bachelorette wee and there other cars coming and she said no problem. She let the other Valet know what rooms to send things down to and directed my friends to us in the lobby. Then when I was checking, Angie greeted my mother and I with the most genuine smile and hello(I own a business based in customer service/experience so I can tell when someone is faking it) After our greetings were exchanged, Angie excitedly asked why were there, I explained my mom’s dream was to stay at the Ritz and it was my favorite hotel so what better way to celebrate my bachelorette weekend. By that time Adrian and Chandler had joined our conversation. We were laughing, exchanging stories of crazy travel, and how important that my mom was happy for her first visit. I had booked 4 garden suites which were great easy access to the pool, which is 24hrs. Angie didn’t push for me to upgrade when asked. After everything was said and done I was nothing short of hugging them for how kind and professional they all were. We get to our rooms and to my surprise Angie calls from the front desk to let me know my suite had been upgraded to a Presidential suite on the same floor by her Manager Rory. Rory had heard our conversation and wanted to make sure it was the best experience and I was so humbled by the act of kindness. My Mom and Aunt of course took the upgrade but no one deserves it more then her. The rest of the weekend was exciting and fun. The pools were great, social distancing was happening and masks were worn around the hotel by guests. The beach was great and the beach butler shuttle helped to go back up the hill. It was truly a magical weekend and it was all made possible because of the incredible staff and people I was there...

The breakfast was good, but should have been offered in the price of the room. We had a room on the ground floor, and could walk out to the pool and hot tub--this was really great! It also provided a nice place to eat the breakfast we had brought to the room. No question that the luxury touches--especially in the bathroom--were fabulous.
